Strøget
Strøget è il termine utilizzato per indicare una delle più vaste aree pedonali in tutta Europa. Si tratta di una zona inizialmente nata negli anni 60 come rimedio al traffico interno divenuto ingovernabile a causa della diffusione dei mezzi a motore. Oggi Strøget è considerata una delle più importanti attrazioni turistiche di Copenaghen grazie anche al proliferarsi, negli anni, di ristoranti, café, negozi dei brand più importanti al mondo, gallerie d’arte e di immancabili negozi di souvenir. Nella parte Ovest la zona pedonale ha inizio direttamente dal Rådhuspladsen e si estende verso Est fino a Kongens Nytorv per più di un chilometro, senza considerare tutte le ramificazioni interne e le varie piazze. E’ sicuramente la zona ideale per organizzare una giornata durante un viaggio, per riposarsi temporaneamente mangiando o riscaldandosi per un caffè, ma soprattutto per acquistare ricordi della città.
