Kongens Have
The King’s Garden, in danese Kongens Have, rappresentano il parco più antico della capitale danese così chiamato poiché fino al 17° secolo faceva parte dei giardini privati del Castello di Rosenbord, la dimora dell’allora Re Christian IV. La magnificenza storica del parco è aumentata dalla presenza di moltissime statue al suo interno che rendono quindi la camminata rilassante, ma al contempo interessante. I giardini sono raggiungibili da quattro differenti vie, ma le due entrate principali sono poste tra Gothersgade e Kronprinsessegade, dove troviamo la cosidetta “King’s Gate”, e tra Øster Voldgade e Sølvgade dove è invece situata la Queen’s Gate. Oltre al castello, una meta molto interessante per i turisti poichè sono ammirabili molti dei tesori della famiglia reale, situato nella zona nord-ovest, si impone tra gli altri edifici del parco la Rosenborg Barracks (Livgardens Kaserne ved Rosenborg), un’enorme caserma dove risiede la guardia reale danese. Tra le varie statue bronzee presenti all’interno del parco è degna di nota la statua di Hans Christian Andersen, poeta e autore danese famoso per le sue fiabe tra cui spicca “La piccola Sirenetta”.

Trasporto: per raggiungere questa zona vi consigliamo una passeggiata passando attraverso lo Strøget. Se invece preferite la comodità, è presente sia una fermata della metropolitana, Nørreport, per le M1 e M2, sia una stazione ferroviaria, sempre denominata Nørreport, dove transitano quasi tutti i treni da e verso la stazione centrale.
